The really great thing about shopping with us is that you can choose how you would like to do it!

Shop here and now with our secure online store, place an order by telephone or if you prefer visit us at one of over 100 stores across England and Wales.

Shopping Online With Us

If you choose to shop online with us you can pay for your items securely by credit or debit card. We also accept some other payment methods.

Alternatively you can choose to collect your items and pay for them at your chosen store.

Choosing Products

The F Hinds website has been designed to make it easy for you to shop:

You can browse by product type such as diamond jewellery or watches. Each category is divided in to a number of smaller categories making it easier for you to find what you are looking for. Alternatively you can use the product filter, which will appear, at the top of the page to help you with your selection.

Products will appear in a list form with an image and a small description. Simply click on the image or 'more information' to allow you to view full details on your chosen product.

If you decide to purchase a product simply click the 'Buy' button. Your item will then be added to your shopping basket. You will be shown a confirmation page confirming this. From here you can proceed to checkout or continue shopping for further items. You can change or delete items that you have added to your basket at any time before making your purchase.

Before you buy you can if you prefer add your chosen item(s) to your comparison portfolio by clicking the button 'Add to comparison portfolio'. Your comparison portfolio allows you to view and compare several items. This is a handy tool for comparing features or price for example. The really great thing too is that the items you add will be stored for five days allowing you to return within this time and make your purchase once you have had time to consider.

When you are ready to pay for your items go to 'Your Basket'. Choose whether or not you wish to receive your items by post (Delivery) or if you want to pay and collect in store (Collection). When selecting by post the delivery charge will be displayed in your basket. If you choose to collect you will be shown a list of all our stores from which you can make your choice. When you are happy to proceed click 'Checkout' to complete your order.

You will be given the chance to register with us at this stage. We recommend that you do this to get the most from visiting us online. Should you wish to return and order with us again you will simply need to log in and this will avoid you having to enter all your details each time. If you have any concerns about the security of your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.

Next you will be asked to review your order. Check carefully to ensure that everything is correct and when you are happy that it is click 'Next'.

Next select the payment method that you wish to use and click Process Payment to complete your order. To see a list of payment methods we accept please click here.

You will then be shown an Order Confirmation page to confirm that your order has been received and an email will be sent to you with details of your order.

Where diamond weights of 10 points and above are quoted these are total guaranteed
minimum weights.

All chains are approximately 18" long unless otherwise stated.

All earrings are for pierced ears unless otherwise stated.

All items are offered subject to availability and may not be stocked in all stores.

 

Descriptions

None of our diamonds are treated by laser drilling or fracture filling as found in some
countries and other shops & websites.

All items described as “Freshwater Pearl” are freshwater Cultured Pearls.

"Mystic Topaz" and "Pink Topaz" sold by us is natural precious topaz which has been coated with a surface treatment to create the colour effect seen. While these are hard-wearing and the only way to produce these attractive colours, this treatment may not be permanent for life.

"Opal Triplet" consists of a layer of natural precious opal between a layer of colourless quartz (for protection) and a layer of black onyx (to create the dark field resembling black opal).

Any other treatments of gemstones sold by F. Hinds are permanent in nature, common to the gem and jewellery trade worldwide and do not need to be described in the way seen above.

We do not sell any synthetic versions of natural gemstones such as ruby, sapphire or emerald. These man-made stones are often described as "Created" by the retailers & websites that choose to sell them. So if you see a stone described as "Ruby", "Opal", etc. on our website or in our shops, you can be assured that it is a natural, precious stone.

We do not sell any substances that might harm endangered species (such as ivory), whether banned or not, and our small selection of coral is guaranteed to come from sustainable sources.
