JEWELLERS F. HINDS OPENS NEW EDEN HIGH WYCOMBE STORE

THE SIXTH GENERATION OF THE HINDS FAMILY TO 'CUT THE RIBBON'

Jewellers F. Hinds will officially open its Eden, High Wycombe store on Wednesday 5^th August 2009 at 9.30am. Located at 1 Newland Street, Eden, High Wycombe, Bucks HP11 2BY (tel. 01494 474507), it is F. Hinds' 109th, with branches across England and Wales, plus an extensive online shopping website at www.fhinds.co.uk.

Charlie Hinds (2) will 'cut the ribbon'. Charlie is the newest addition to the Hinds’ family, and the sixth generation to be involved in the retail jewellery business - mum Sarah Hinds will have to help with the snipping as Charlie is just 2 years old. Andrew Hinds (Director, Charlie’s father and 5th generation) and Roy Hinds (Chairman, Andrew's father and 4th generation) will also be there for the grand opening.

The new F. Hinds' 1,110sq ft. store is at the threshold of the busy Newland Street entrance. Visitors will immediately notice the bright and modern store, with its extensive range of gold, platinum and silver, diamond and gemstone jewellery, so much more than its old White Hart Street store - a sparkling five metres of windows - plus an unparalleled selection of watches. Managed by Jim Knight (53), the store has eight locally recruited staff.

F. Hinds has a much envied reputation in the jewellery trade for its knowledgeable, well trained and helpful staff. Shoppers will be delighted with the new store and the service they will receive, whether selecting a diamond engagement ring, or finding the perfect watch. “We have so much more space for designer watches and jewellery”, said Manager Jim Knight. Additionally, F. Hinds also offers other services including jewellery valuations, repairs and watch strap and battery replacements.
