Take the Hagrid’s Hut ornament for example, this can be paired with the figurine “A Proud Hippogriff, Indeed,” which features Hagrid and his loyal friend Buckbeak the Hippogriff.
Hogwarts Great Hall And Tower
Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Hogwarts is the main setting for the Harry Potter books and films so it’s a must-have for any Harry Potter Village collector. Eloquently detailed, this ornament has the dormers, pointed witch hat roofs and odd shaped rooms that Hogwarts is known for. We can’t stop staring at the courtyard, where much of the Battle of Hogwarts took place, as well as the great hall and its impressive large windows. Turn on the lights and Hogwarts Castle comes to life even more. We can imagine the students listening to one of Dumbledore’s fine speeches in the Great Hall, students relaxing in their dorm rooms and first years roaming around the castle’s grounds.
Chasing The Snitch
A famous wizarding sport that’s played on broomsticks, Quidditch has been played at Hogwarts for nearly 1000 years. Just like his dad James Potter, Harry took to Quidditch in his first year at Hogwarts and is the Seeker for Gryffindor’s Quidditch team. In this ornament, Harry is chasing the Golden Snitch above one of the Gryffindor tents on the Quidditch field. Gryffindor house colours are shown throughout this ornament on the tent, flag and Harry’s uniform. When plugged in, the ornament rotates as Harry chases the Golden Snitch.
Hagrid’s hut is formed by two brick rooms with pointy mossy roofs and a chimney. There are many intricate accents around the hut including pumpkins, barrels and lamps – all things that Hagrid uses day-to-day. Hagrid’s Hut is near the scary Forbidden Forest on the Hogwarts grounds and is next to his pet Buckbeak’s favourite pumpkin patch. This comprehensive ornament also lights up inside when plugged in, bringing life to Hagrid’s Hut and to any room its displayed in. We can begin to imagine Hagrid inside his Hut with his lovable dog fang waiting for Harry, Ron and Hermione to pop over for a spot of tea.
The Hogwarts Express
Every budding witch and wizard starts their journey to Hogwarts on the magnificent steam train the Hogwarts Express. The Hogwarts Express departs at exactly 11 o’clock on 1st September from platform 9 and ¾ from King’s Cross in London every year, taking excited students and hardworking teachers to school. With the iconic scarlet coloured exterior and heaps of coal at the end carriage the Hogwarts Express is ready to depart. Turn on the lights to let the Hogwarts Express light up at the front like a real train!
