Founded in London in 1946 by Asher and Rebecca Loftus, the brand continued to grow from strength to strength, helped by designs being seen on icons such as Twiggy and The Beatles. By the 1970’s digital quartz movement arrived in the watch industry, allowing the brand to offer stunning fashion pieces at affordable prices. Accurist quickly become a highstreet favourite, moved manufacturing to Japan and were appointed the first official sponsor of the British Telecom’s Speaking Clock.

After being acquired by Time Product Ltd, 2014 breathed new life into the brand. They added new collections and designs but always keeping quality and value at its heart.

In 2022, Accurist decided to make its British heritage a focal point moving forward, refining the range by spotlighting the best the brand has to offer.
