Bespoke Diamond Engagement Ring

Posted on: 02/03/2016

The brief:

To design and manufacture a contemporary diamond engagement ring.

The process:

The customer wanted a modern engagement ring where half of the stone was set into a wrap around twist setting. After a few drafts, a final sketch of the design was approved and having established proportions, a selection of diamonds were sourced and one was viewed and chosen in store.

Our designers then created a wax mould of the design and through a process known as 'lost wax casting', created the first cast of the ring. After a few tweaks and a clean and polish, the chosen diamond was set which completed the design. The ring was then sent off to be hallmarked.

We really like the final outcome of this engagement ring and having a design as unique as this will be something really special to own. We are hoping to see the customer again for their bespoke fitted wedding ring!
