Struggling to find a wedding ring that would sit against her cluster style engagement ring, the customer popped into her local F.Hinds for help. We took it from there!
The process:
Naturally, every couple wants their wedding day to be one of the most memorable and meaningful moments of their lives - and every detail, right down to the wedding ring, should feel just right.
One bride-to-be came to us after struggling to find a wedding ring that complemented her beautiful cluster-style engagement ring. The unique shape of her ring made finding an "off-the-shelf" match a challenge, and her slender finger (size H) narrowed down the options even further.
A member of our team reassured her that we could help and introduced her to our Bespoke Design Service. Together, they discussed her vision in detail: a slim, 2mm plain 9ct yellow gold wedding ring that would perfectly follow the curves of her engagement ring and match its gold tones seamlessly.
Understanding that most customers prefer not to part with their engagement ring during the design and manufacturing process, we offered a clever solution. Using a gentle, in-store method, we created a precise impression of her engagement ring by pressing it into soft putty. This imprint was then sent to our design team to begin creating a CAD model that would mirror the ring’s shape exactly.
Once the design was approved and production completed, the customer returned to collect her perfectly shaped, custom-made wedding ring. She left the store ready for her Big Day - with a truly personal piece that symbolised her love and fit like a dream.
