F.Hinds Bristol originally opened in 1927 as the family business' 10th shop, being one of only three shops in its area to surive devastating bombing during the Second World War, prompting a temporary closure from 1941-46, before being demolished in 1963. The current F.Hinds shop in Bristol opened on the corner of Broadmead in the Galleries Shopping Centre in 2014.
