A diamond eternity ring is usually associated with important life events as it symbolises the eternal nature of a relationship with its line of precious stones encircling the finger. There are two occasions for which the giving of an eternity ring has proved a timeless favourite: one is the birth of a first child, reflecting the extra commitment to a relationship that such a momentous event requires; the other is the 7th wedding anniversary – probably to prove that the “seven year itch” isn’t a problem!
